Our aim is to create a series of environments that support and enhance healing whilst ensuring that staff can work effectively. Each domain public/staff/treatment/inpatients, is interpreted and defined with spatial characteristics that enlightens and inspires beyond the mere functional.

The interior design of our healthcare facilities reflects a balance between the clinical function and social purpose. We set out to design domain specific architectural environments that appeal to the intuitive sensitivites and perceptions of respective patient groups.

Spacial legibility and wayfinding is pivotal and building design is often burdened by issues of security, zoning and functional compartmentalisation. MAAPs approach to interior design is to create 'special' places that are attractive and memorable to the individual to assist orientation.
