MAAP engages in auditing and evaluation of healthcare services on a number of levels:

• Estate developments option appraisal: receiving and proposing general development options with regard to clinical service benefits, costing, phasing, social and estate considerations.

• Development control plan: MAAP conducts DCP planning exercises in conjunction with service and estates personnel in identifying optimum development strategies in the light of current operation policies.

• Auditing: MAAP engages in a wide range of premises audits including access audits in relation to the latest development in the Disability Discrimination Act compliance.

• Advisory panels: Director Mungo Smith sits on the NHS Design Review Panel.
